Ms. McGlauflin has provided training and technical assistance to scores
of organizations in the U.S., Asia, Europe and South America, helping them design and fuel strategies to significantly boost
their impact and effectiveness. She works effectively with clients ranging from non-governmental organizations, international
organizations, government development assistance agencies, foundations, and corporations with corporate social responsibility
programs. She has extensive experience with major donor fundraising, strategic planning and public-private partnerships.
Ms. McGlauflin's background includes
more than twenty years of first-hand experience as a program developer, fundraiser and operations manager in various nonprofit
organizations in the U.S. and Japan. She has substantive expertise in a number of relief and development fields, including
refugees and migration, human rights and combatting human trafficking, women's economic development, youth development, and
renewable energy.
Ms. McGlauflin received a
Master of Arts degree in East Asian studies from the University of Hawaii/East West Center in 1978 and a Bachelor of Arts
in Asian Studies from Connecticut College. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Tenzin Gyatso Institute for
Wisdom and Compassion. Her hobbies include ethnomusicology and flying.

Hiroko Okami, Affiliated Consultant
Hiroko
Okami has been Insights in Action's Tokyo Representative since March 1994. She has more than 30 years professional experience
in the areas of fundraising, volunteer development, market research, translation, interpretation, public relations and communications.
Her clients include NGOs, foundations and corporations. She is a graduate of Sacred Heart University in Tokyo.
